The only reason why this is somewhat true is because the WWE doesn’t give the same amount of attention to the divas of today that they gave to divas like Trish & Lita. It’s not because the girls suck or anything. If WWE would give the divas time in the ring and time to develop their characters they certainly can be the next Trish & Lita.
Eve is a perfect example of having what it takes to be the next Trish/Lita. She has the rings skills, the mic skills. Now that they are giving her a character she finally gets a reaction from the crowd that we love to hear. She has everything it takes. WWE just needs to use this time to build her up and then have her wrestle once her character is done.
They can even go on the Trish route and have Big Johnny turn on her (or Eve turn face on him). Then have Johnny put her in handicap matches and so forth same thing that happened with Vince/Trish pretty much.

I’m pretty sure the reason Prue was never shown after season 3 was cause Shannen Doherty (who played Prue) wanted nothing to do with the show. So the show could not use Shannen’s Image to portray Prue.
So pretty much any episode where they could have seen Prue (like the one mentioned above) could not show Prue because Prue’s image is actually Shannen’s image. That’s why they could only show Prue in dog form (since that wasn’t Shannen’s property) and they showed the back of her because that could have been anyone’s back (which I’m sure it was someone else and not Shannen). That was another reason why they didn’t show Prue on the last episode I’m sure.
